A hand emerges from the clouds offering a living wand, sprouting with new leaves, like a spark that still smells of open ground and beginning. The Ace of Wands speaks of creative desire, vital impulse, and the urge to kindle something in the world. It is the seed of fire, possibility before it has chosen a shape.

Upright

A spark of inspiration or longing is asking to be acted on, through the hands, the voice, or the body. Meet the enthusiasm with presence rather than promising everything at once. A small flame deserves tending before it becomes a path.

Reversed

Reversed, the fire can turn into anxiety, a creative block, or the rush to make a spark into a blaze before its time. The impulse is there but cannot yet find its channel. Let the energy gather instead of forcing it into the world half-formed.
