Minor Arcana
Five of Cups
The Five of Cups shows a cloaked figure looking down at three spilled cups, while two still stand upright behind, unseen. A bridge leads home across the water. The card speaks of grief, regret, and the difficulty of turning toward what remains.
Upright
Loss is real and deserves to be felt, yet not everything has been spilled. When the mourning has had its space, two cups still stand behind you. The bridge home is there when you are ready to turn.
Reversed
Reversed, grief can either begin to release or harden into a story of only what was lost. There may be the first movement toward acceptance, or a refusal to look at the cups still standing. Notice where you are in the work of turning around.
