Nine of Cups

The Nine of Cups shows a satisfied figure seated with arms crossed before a curved row of nine cups. Often called the wish card, it speaks of contentment, emotional fulfillment, and the simple pleasure of having enough. It is satisfaction that can be felt in the body.

Upright

There is real reason to feel content, and the invitation is to let yourself actually savor it. A wish or a comfort may be within reach. Receive the fullness without rushing past it toward the next desire.

Reversed

Reversed, the satisfaction can feel hollow, surface-level, or dependent on appearances. There may be indulgence that does not reach the deeper hunger. Ask what your heart actually wants beneath the easy comforts.
