Seven of Cups

The Seven of Cups shows a figure facing seven cups rising in the clouds, each holding a different vision: treasure, a face, a serpent, a wreath. The card speaks of imagination, choice, and the confusion that comes when too many possibilities glitter at once. Not every shining cup holds substance.

Upright

There are many options before you, and the work is to tell the true longing apart from the pleasant illusion. Dream freely, but bring at least one vision down to the ground. Clarity comes when you stop trying to choose everything.

Reversed

Reversed, the fog may be clearing, or the temptation to escape into fantasy may be growing stronger. A choice is being asked for. Notice whether you are sorting the visions or losing yourself among them.
