Minor Arcana
Seven of Swords
The Seven of Swords shows a figure slipping away from a camp, carrying five swords while two remain behind. The card speaks of strategy, secrecy, and the temptation to take a clever shortcut. It asks whether cunning serves you or undermines your own integrity.
Upright
There may be a need for strategy and discretion, or a temptation to avoid a confrontation by going around it. Be honest with yourself about your motives. Cleverness serves you only when it does not cost your own self-respect.
Reversed
Reversed, a secret or a self-deception may be coming to light, or a wish to come clean may be rising. There can be the unraveling of a plan that relied on avoidance. Notice where honesty would lighten what you have been carrying alone.
