Major Arcana
The High Priestess
The High Priestess sits between two pillars, a veil behind her and the moon at her feet. She does not rush to explain the mystery; she keeps it, breathes with it, lets it ripen in silence. She is the quiet knowing that arrives as a shiver, a recurring dream, a sentence that returns when the house goes dark.
Upright
An answer is forming beneath the surface, like water moving under stone, and it asks for patience rather than noise. Trust the intuition you cannot yet prove, and give it the unhurried attention it needs. Some truths are meant to be held before they are spoken.
Reversed
Reversed, the inner voice may be muffled, drowned out, or used as a place to hide. Silence can turn from sanctuary into avoidance, and a secret can grow heavy. Notice whether you are listening inward or simply refusing to look.
