Ten of Swords

The Ten of Swords shows a figure lying still beneath ten swords, with a dark sky giving way to a thin band of dawn on the horizon. The card speaks of a painful ending, rock bottom, and the strange relief of knowing the worst has passed. After this, the only direction is up.

Upright

Something has reached its end, and as harsh as it feels, the bleeding has stopped. This is the bottom of the cycle, and the light on the horizon is real. Let the chapter close so a new dawn can begin.

Reversed

Reversed, there can be slow recovery, resistance to letting the ending be final, or a fear that the worst will return. You may be rising or refusing to. Notice what it would take to accept that this particular fall is over.
